Instead of being shown our actual aprtment we were shown a model, once I got back into the neighborhood I saw why. People were sitting all over the streets,graffiti was on the buildings. Thats just the start, when we moved in as we were unpacking people were going through the things on the back of our truck, plus the two drunk guys who approached us and told us we'd be targeted b/c we were white. I have taken an entomology course and am a huge bug lover. This changed when I saw the flood of roaches come out of our balcony door in broad daylight, we rinsed roaches down the sink atleast 6 times in one hour atleast 20 per time. The roaches were all over the floor we got our stuff the heck outta there!!! We were there for less than 2 hours before we canceled our lease and got our money back after I argued with 3 different people. This is not a safe neighborhood unless your of spanish heritage which may be a bonus b/c all the signs are in spanish.If you are a UMD student keep looking, your parents would die if they saw this place!! Plus you might die living there!! heed my warning!!!! DON't MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!
