I'm not sure why people place so many false statements about University Gardens. I have lived here for the last 7 years and have never experienced the things these people are talking about. Keep your apartment clean and you don't have to worry about roaches and mice. Talk to your neighbors and you don't have to worry about living here "paranoia". Many other people have lived here for years and we all appreciate the caring staff. I will admit the surrounding area has problems, but not University Gardens.

Yeah right. Some things you have no control over and pest control is one of them. The fact that the apartments are CONNECTED make it impossible to be rid of roaches by simply keeping your apartment clean. This is obviously someone that is part of the staff attempting to raise the rating scores. Who would live in these apartments for 7 years??? That's the first thing that I just CANNOT believe. Second, how would it be possible for someone to live among all of what people are complaining about and NEVER IN 7 YEARS experience any of it? Let's be for real. I'm not saing that U.G. is so so terrible, but it's not place that I woluld recommend to anyone that could afford better. There's nothing really "BAD" about the property, but it's definitely not a place to be "happy" with. As soon as I can afford to move I will. I am hoping not to have to spend a SECOND year there, let alone seven.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! ROACHES AND MICE CAME TO MY APARTMENT THE SECOND DAY I MOVED IN, EVEN BEFORE I ACTUALLY COOKED ANYTHING. EVERYTHING IS BAD WITH THESE APARTMENTS.

I am the biggest clean freak that anyone will ever meet. I had roaches and bedbugs in my U Gardens Apt. Incidentally, if you do your research, bedbugs have nothing to do with sanitary conditions. Anyway, there's nothing you can do about your neighbors. If they're filthy, and your room is connected to theirs, you will have roaches. Guaranteed.
