I have lived here for just under 4 years and let me tell you, it's truly what you pay for. I have had problems with Bed Bugs, roaches and not to mention mice. As for the neighbors, OMG there no consideration for others in this community or anything as the laundry rooms are horrific. I would say one of the only plus's would be convience other than that none. Parking- My car was burglarized 5 times Personal Safety - My apartment was recently broken into in broad daytlight.....The Management are the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. When they make a mistake they blame you. For instance, I paid my March rent on time using the drop box, they lost my check. They told me that I didn't pay it and that I was lying. They found the check and had the nerve to charge me a late fee. When I called to speak with the manager she was just as rude telling me I was lying nd to get over it. In additon I was recnetly robbed and there whole attitude was, "oh well" I would not recommend this complex to anybody.

I have been living in University Gardens since Sept 08 and I have been ready to leave since then. This place is disgusting! Its my first place since moving out of my parents house, and I would rather go back to living with them than being here! A exterminator is suppose to come today for our bed bug problem, since they just love to eat me and my roommate up and leave horrible welps on our bodies, and the roaches are just disgusting! I have bought so many roach killers, and had then come and spray, and I think that makes them multiply, I CANNOT wait til october when my lease is up!!

OMG! I can Relate. I Moved From Lee Ave In Takoma Park And Let Me Tell You! It Was No Bed Of Roses! I am Now Living On University BLVD. It's Ok, No Bed Bugs But small Roach Problem. Just Saw Rat For The First Time Though. I want To move So I can Enjoy A Better Quality Of Life. I Guess Everyone Visiting This Site Has A Horro Story! Any Suggestion?
