1901 West

 

1901 West is hands down the most horrid renting experience I have ever had in my life, and I grew up in the projects in the Bronx.

Apartments are cheaply constructed and the layout (living in a parking structure) leaves much to be desired.

Crime is plentiful, as are noise/disturbances from neighbors.

They rent to a lot of questionable types, who enjoy drunken hijinks until the wee hours of the night.

I have had to personally call the police on seven occasions.

The management is horrid, so don't expect a lot of service.

One tenant killed himself in his unit last June, and they did not even have the courtesy to inform those of us living around him.

The smell is unbearble, as it was weeks until they removed the body.

Word is that they are planning to go section 8 in the next year or so, as they are having difficulties keeping up with the place.

Do not be fooled by the stacked clubhouse, the rest of the joint is a world class dump.

And if you even try to get out of your lease, you will be shut down like a bar on Sunday morning.

There is plenty of parking, although the garage is filled with feces (human?) and garbage from people's cars.

The floors have not been cleaned since the building opened, so they are CAKED in dirt and grime and salt from winters past.

If you must rent in Annapolis, I recommend avoiding any property managed by Bozutto, if possible.
