Where to begin' I've been here since April of 2007. I'm embarrassed to tell people that I live here and even more so if they ask what I pay. Living here causes a lot of stress. It's insulting to pay this much for what you get. Look at their website - you can't see those views in the pictures from here! This is hardly a such a pretty location.

Here are a few highlights:

Location: Ghetto

Entering the property, the "security" gates occasionally work. Visibility is poor in the garage, which is poorly lit and you can barely see another vehicle coming at you around the turns. The stairwells are locked on the ground floor, which doesn't prevent them smelling bad and cluttered with trash, and the elevators break all the time. The nearest grocery store has a security guard at the exit. If you have a dog, there are two tiny patches of grass on which to walk poochie. Nothing is within walking distance.

Noise: If you're not deaf, you'll wish you were.

"Beep-beep-beep" of reversing trucks. All day - weekdays, weekends and especially holidays - morning, noon, night. Also, school buses, garbage trucks, sirens, idling trucks, traffic, and screaming crazy street people.

The hot water heater is located in a closet IN THE BEDROOM. Hope you're not a light sleeper.

Neighbors: Mix of scum and professionals. Mostly scum.

A lot of the neighbors are too lazy to take their trash to the garbage chute so they just leave bags in the hallway for days on end. Keep ant spray for the summer months. Management does nothing, and if you speak to the neighbors about it they make like it's YOUR problem.

Fixtures and appliances: Shoddy, cheap and annoying.

The washer / dryer are crap. They're so loud that I have to leave when doing the wash, I can't stand listening to the "energy saving" method of starting and stopping the entire time it's running. That goes for both the washer and dryer. Shower drips, tub plug doesn't hold and kitchen sink drips. But hey, my apt came with a plunger next to the toilet - what does that tell you'

Maintenance enters your apartment without 24 hour advance notice. I thought that was the law' Exploding pipes in the breezeways make life interesting. It's a good idea to have renter's insurance here.

Bonuses: Access

Crack addicts won't have to travel far to get their fix and thieves have easy access to your vehicle.

In sum, this is the worst place I've ever lived. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
