Has any other residents here at 1901 West noticed a different type of clientele moving in' I have heard rumors saying that our community now accepts Section 8 and HUD Housing vouchers.

Anyone heard of this' There is a lot of yelling throughout the hallways and parking garage.

Also, I have noticed a lot of trash on the ground and throughout the property.

There are also many unfavorable vehicles driving in the back of the complex, on Westbridge Dr.

These new people don't seem to have the pride in our community as there was when 1901 West first opened and stared moving people in.

Anyone else'

I did find that Bozutto was very helpful when I had to contact them directly because after 6 months the front office staff had failed to pay us the referral fee for conning a friend into moving in.

I noticed that as well before I moved. Section 8 government vouchers gives 1901 West guaranteed income, at least the taxpayer's portion of the rent. Before I left, I had seen several eviction notices for unpaid rent, which may have led to them accepting it.

Are you sure they have section 8 here? Looking at the cars in the garage I kind of doubt that, sometimes I feel like I have brought the average income down because my BMW is 6 years old and not new (looking at most of the cars in the lot I'd say a lot of people here have money- they are either very nice cars, brand new cars, or both). Most of the neighbors I've seen or talked to seem to be young professionals. As for the yelling and occasional trash issues- I've noticed that most of my neighbors are in their mid to late 20's. As a younger crowd they probably do have more parties than someone my age (near 40) and parties mean sometimes people may talk to each other across the hall, and drunks sometimes mean a beer bottle or two in the halls. But, while they are young most are professionals and most seem to be pretty responsible about such things. I've only noticed trash in the halls, a bottle or two, once...the only real trash issue I've seen is sometimes the dumpster is overflowing in the trash room, but it stays in the trash room.
