We have been here nearly a year and we will be leaving at the end of our lease.

Pros: Nice, clean apartment. Parking is great. People that live here are nice and generally seem to be young professionals. Location is very convenient for everything. Don't hear neighbors too much.

Cons:

Traffic NOISE! We were told when we moved in that it wasn't bad and really rush hour would be the worst. That was a big fat lie. The traffic is constant day and night and LOUD, we are located in between the hospital and fire station - all emergency traffic goes by these windows. Furthermore, we were not told that we were moving into a construction zone! We are in the Starbucks building and have heard hammering and drilling daily since January.

Staff is hot and cold. Generally they are helpful with the small stuff and nice people but it took a lot of hounding to get a referral pay off and I still haven't heard back on getting compensation for a maintenance issue that went on for over a week (according to our lease after 24 hours we are supposed to be compensated within reason) that was nearly 3 months ago. We have had some problem getting packages but as of late it seems like that issue has been resolved.

Security. There has been an office break in and some cars have been hit as well I believe. Also, the people doing construction here require frequent access to the parking garage and leave the gates propped open so they can pass through as they wish. That really irks me, particularly since they don't bother to close them when they leave for the evening. We are not in the best part of town, I don't feel terribly comfortable in the court yard or garages late at night alone, have seen some vagabonds.

The Washer/Dryer situation SUCKS. I think others have covered it pretty thoroughly.

Not a good place for animals, there is no safe areas to walk/run your pets due to high traffic volume and poor sidewalks, just very small patchs of grass for them to go to the bathroom.

Lately, my smoke alarms have been randomly going off, particularly in the middle of the night. One of the early reviews mentioned this, but not many of the other raters.
