Management will make you hate the place

The complex is nice, but not very well kept.
Like all apartments, things break.
But, don't expect a timely schedule to have it fixed or for the problem to be fixed on the first try.
The staff is friendly, but are quick to pass the buck or give ambiguous answers to any problem you might have.
The point of management is to help you fix your problems, and they don't do that very well here.
I love my apartment.
Its pretty inside.
But the carpet is cheap and the washer and dryer included are cheap too.
For five of the six months I lived here, the gate to the parking garage was broken, and eight cars were vandalized.
There are secure gates to get into your apartment and about three months ago the power went out and the fuse or something that controls the gate broke.
Another tenant found a way to rip the gate off the hinges and it stayed broken like that for two months.
The controlled access, therefore, was never really controlled.
Nice apartments but way too much of a headache for what you pay.
If you have the money for 1901 West, look to other expensive apartments in the area.
