most of the reviews are unfair, i have lived here since November of 2005. Originally from Prince Georges County, when searching for an apt i looked everywhere and came across several issues, either the rent was ridiculous compared to the size of the apt.I am sorry i refuse to pay a $1000.00 a month for a one bedroom apt because the lobby has artificial flowers inside the foyer. Another problem was cleanliness or lack there of. If you walk into an apt foyer and you smell urine, hello there is a problem. Yes, there was a roach or two that I noticed when i moved in, I called the rental office and the very next day they had an exterminator out. I have noticed that as people move in and out the roaches seem to run from one place to another. So if you know there are clouds in the sky you carry an umbrella. HELLO! Here is a secret, roaches only migrate where they can be fed. Keep your apartment clean, empty all of your trash can s at night. Don't leave water spills everywhere. Don't leave food and dirty dishes in your sink over night. I also clean once a week with Clorox, it sanitizes as well as the roaches hate the smell of bleach. Your cleanliness in your home is what you make it.

just thought i'd post this...did you know that roaches can live and survive for up to three months on CARDBOARD boxes? certain species also can live off of the dead skin flakes that we leave behind. The apartment I viewed at nighttime was disgusting there were so many running around in the hallway, the ceiling, the apartment itself...even the sidewalk outside had them. the apartment had all new fixtures and such. The basement (washroom facility) was a joke...one washer ...one dryer...haha...and they were both filled with roaches and the dryer had a roach nest in the bottom. you cant kill roaches in EVERYONE else's apartment haha. |

I don't know what your problems were with Admiral Farragut, but I feel as though you are exaggerating your experience. How would you know about a roach nest in the bottom of the dyer. I have lived there going on three years, sure I a few roaches, but cleanliness kept them at bay, don't bad mouth the entire apartment community because of your "false"
experiences.
