I'm currently in the middle of my third year at Avalon Landing. So far everything has been going well.

Staff are very good about general maintenance to the apartments- if something such as your A/C or your drain breaks, they fix it. However, that doesn't apply to cosmetic repairs. For instance, none of the windows in my apartment work. I have to prop them open with dowel rods if I want a breeze in the summer. Also, the drywall on the ceiling of my balcony has started to fall down, and I was told they wouldn't fix it until they contracted to do all the balconies. Seems kinda chintzy, for what they're charging.

Parking is truly a nightmare at the apartment buildings near the back. However, for groceries and such you can park temporarily in the fire lane and unload them. So it's manageable.

I've never had a problem with noise, although be prepared for some draconian rules. After 10:00, they ask that you don't run your dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. This can be inconvenient when you're busy.

All-in-all it's been a good experience. I think they're overpriced for what you get, but it's Annapolis- everything is overpriced for what you get.
