Place sucks From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   Was excited when we first arrived since our apartment had a "romantic fireplace" as advertised but the fireplace is very draftly when not in use. Our excitement quickly vanished as we were invaded by crickets. The crickets were uncontrollable! The crickets were so bad, we vacated our apartment before our lease was up and continued to pay the rent so we would not lose our deposit and ruin our rental history. Once our lease was up, there was no renewal! We HATE bugs, and the crickets were multiplying. The explanation from management was since our apartment was close to the water and on the bottom floor, we had more crickets than most, but after speaking with other tenants management's excuse proved to be untrue--they had just as many if not more. Nonetheless, there are better apartments out there for the price! The noise from surrounding apartments was awful and our car got banged up quite a bit in the parking lot. The day we moved in, there was a car accident in the parking lot. The spaces are narrow and there is not much room to maneuver. Terrible experience...never again!
