I'm going on my third year at Harbour Gates and have enjoyed just about every minute of living here.

Seems as though there are numerous comments about noise in the apartments, but I would remind those people: these are apartments...they cant filter out everything. That is one of the reasons people buy houses.

The Staff is awesome. The pet policy is also great as I have a large dog. I read a comment posted by someone earlier about a 'large dog' and they mentioned that the weight limit was supposed to be 35 lbs. Well, originally, when I moved in, the weight limit was 100lbs. And given that I moved in then, they 'grandfather claused' the new weight limit to exclude 'future pets' not existing.

(Though, my dog is not loud - so I dont think its the one that bothered that person)

The grounds are gorgeous and the neighbors, while sometimes aloof, are, for the most part very nice and I have made several friends among them.

Parking, for the night owl IS tough, but I used to live in NY, so thats par for the course. If you come in late, expect to walk about 40 yds.

The Maintenance guys are all very cool. Given my tenure in the community, I have had numerous contacts with them and they always have a smile and seem like super people.

I do not hesitate to reccomend Harbour Gates. From the location to the maintenance to the grounds to the office staff (especially Mary) to the sense of security one feels living there. I have often stopped people touring the community when I see them and tell them to look no farther.

Harbour Gates is definitely someplace I am happy to call home.
