Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2000
I lived at here in 1999 right after I graduated from college. It was pretty affordable and in a decent location. I liked the office staff, but sometimes felt like I was getting the run-around when it came to maintenance requests. I had a lot of problems with most of the appliances in my apartment, which I understands happens sometimes in apts., but you would think they would be fixed or replaced if need be. In my situation the maintenace staff came to the apartment about 3 times (separate occasions) for the fridge, oven, and washer and dryer. They would work for a while, but eventually the same problem would occur or something entirely different. I eneded up finishing my lease term, but did so without any properly functioning appliances. I would wash my clothes at friends places, and continued to replace everything in my fridge when it stopped cooling. I just recently moved back to Annapolis and am living in a new community that I really like. Parking is sometimes a problem for my friends, but I have a garage, so it's great for me. Overall, I think Harbour Gates is a decent complex, but for your money I think there are better options.
