I have lived here for eight months and for the price and size it seemed pretty nice. But beware the apartment buildings are very poorly built allowing you to hear everything, I mean everything, your neighbors do. As I write this right now the family above sounds like they are having wrestling practice. It is as is if I were living in a snare drum, you can also hear people going to the bathroom, having conversations, or talking on the phone. I know what your thinking, it is probably just that family, well it happens to be the second family that has lived there simce we moved in. Aside from the noise, the dryer takes about three hours per load, and the windows are highly inefficent making for an expensive bill. I would not wish the constant noise on anyone so take my advice and stay away, if you cant resist at least get an apartment on the top floor, and perhaps one day your neighbor will be writing a nasty review from under your living room. Instead of listening to your neigbors noises maybe you could make some noise of you own does the word girlfriend mean anything to you. As far as you dryer goes have you ever heard of a telephone to contact the office so that you could get you dryer fixed. You send to much time listening to your neighbor instead of making a phone call to get your dryer fixed. You are so worried about high bills but you have done anything to help this problem. You tell people to stay away but what real problem are you having besides listening to your neigbors enjoy they home. You need to stop and think before you say anything than again you not thinking your are listening. Good luck to you and hopefully you will found the help you need and it won't be listening to your neigbors. By the way this community has a great maintence staff but you wouldn't know that because you are too busy listening. There is a whole world out here pick up the phone if you dial a number someboby on the other end might just be able to help you. Good luck with you dryer but find bigger things to be negative about, like the economy. If a dryer sets you off and you are listening to other peoples coversations than you have a problem much bigger than a dryer.

Thank you for your response. Not to continue to be petty by responding to this commentary, but we have considered creating a racket but to annoy our neighbors. But due to our possession of a conscience and consideration for other people, we realized it would affect more people than those annoying us: We would be creating an uncomfortable environment for the people below us; thereby perpetuating the problem. To clarify the previous entry: the maintenance staff and front desk is absolutely wonderful (sorry that was overlooked before). They respond extremely fast and do a fabulous job. Regarding the dryer???we have called about it multiple times including when we first moved in. They came and serviced it and even ???blew out??? the lint from the dryer to the exterior upon my request???but all of this was to no avail. It just reiterates the fact that these apartments are cheaply built and furnished. Finally, the grievances we posted were a big deal to us and we wanted to share that information with potential renters. What is perceived as negative is for everyone to define for themselves. P.S. We ARE worried about the economy, that's why the dryer and windows are such a big deal-especially for potential renters since they will have to budget in how much electricity will cost.

To the person who wrote the review...all I have to say is this...DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE RENTING! These buildings were built some time ago and construction as since changes. ALL apartment communities have poor soundproofing...thats why its an apartment! Its one building with different rooms. If you were in a "house" in a bedroom with the door shut you can easily here people in the next room. Its the same construction. They don't add concrete or steel between walls (some do) As for the dryer...call the rental office...if it doesnt get fixed in a timely manner..talk to the manager and so forth...

it is obvious that someone from the office staff is writing these responses to everyones complaints. This is sad. Maybe they should spend more time trying to fix things in the community then reading message boards

I agree with the original post and have a serious problem with the response. What a jerk. Do you think we enjoy listening to our neighbors? Make more noise? How old are? I hear that damn dog above me all day and night, so you're solution would be for me to get a dog of my own? This place sucks. Accept it.
