My husband & I have lived here for nearly a year & it has been a wonderful experience. Not only is the complex very pet friendly, the leasing & maintenance staff are all warm, friendly, & take their jobs seriously. As soon as we moved in, the hot water heater broke & got the carpet in the dining room wet; the staff immediately replaced both with brand new appliances, carpet & padding. We've lived here while all the "crimes", mentioned in other posts, were taking place and we never felt like we were in any danger. Also, we've never run into any parking problems, but I think it depends where your building is; we were lucky enough to get an apt. in one of the buildings on Admiral drive, which seems to have less of a parking problem. The lot is well-lit and you can park close to your apt.
We love our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apt and all the great walking trails throughout the grounds. The interiors are a bit dated (90s maybe), but clean and functional & I never hear my neighbors on either side of me, so the walls must be well-insulated. There's a little noise from above, though. But nothing out of the ordinary for apt. living. Most all the residents here are young professionals and very quiet and friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would renew our lease in a heartbeat if we weren't currently buying a house!

THIS ADD WAS AGAIN WRITTEN BY THE STAFF AT HARBOUR GATES APARTMENTS, NOTICE HOW THEY ACT LIKE THE CRIMES DID NOT HAVE AN AFFECT ON THE COMMUNITY.... YOU MUST NOT GET OUT MUCH, ALSO WHAT APARTMENT NUMBER GOT NEW APPLIANCES CONSIDERING EVERYONE ELSES ARE FROM THE 1970'S, GET REAL!! HORRIBLE PLACE!
