I have been living in Harbour Gates for almost a year now. As a whole the apartment is great. I have never had a problem with the office staff like some of these other reviews are stating. They say hello to me if I see them outside, and if I need to go in to pick up a package or drop off my rent they are always smiling and help me right away.
There's only a handful of things that I would change and they are all minor problems..

1. The floors and walls are very thin. On one side of me I can hear my neighbors music playing or taking on her cell phone in the hall ways at all hours of the night. On the other side of my I can hear my neighbors television going and my neighbors above me, well lets just say I can hear everything they do.. and yes i mean everything.
2. There is no closet space. All there is, is a storage closet outside on the deck and the closet in the bedroom. If there was a pantry in the kitchen and/or a linen closed in or by the bathroom. It would help a tremendous amount.
3. Everyone doesn't always clean up after their dogs.
4. I have had a problem with maintenance twice. Once, I woke up to banging on my front door at 7:00 in the morning. When I answered it, it was maintenance coming to rip up my kitchen floor. I received no notice or anything, I had to let them just come in while I was still in my pj's half asleep. The other time, maintenance send out a notice they would be by to check the fire alarms in each apartment on a particular date. That's fine. But the fact that maintenance just uses a key to enter with out knocking, i am not okay with. I could have been standing around naked for all they knew. They need to knock and make sure no one is home before just entering.

So in all, I would definitely recommend Harbour Gates. In fact I have, a friend of mine is moving in next month and two other are moving in next year.
