Excellent -- Beyond my Expectations

I moved into Regatta Bay a few months ago and was cautiously suspicious of everything, assuming that it couldn't be as good as it claimed. I've been proven wrong.
Parking is only a moderate problem if you get home too late in the evening. There is always a spot somewhere, but sometimes it's on the side of the lot opposite your apartment.
There is virtually no noise. I have a bedroom by some stairs, so I heard someone talking one night and say, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." I've never heard any music, televisions, voices, etc. unless my windows are open and people are in the pool. Still, the residents are surprsingly quiet.
I don't really care about the grounds, but they put forth a great effort. They mulch around their flowering bushes and trees. They water frequently to keep everything in good shape.
I'm terribly impressed with how well lit the grounds are. The outdoor hallways have lights all along, and the parking lot is well lit as well. I used to feel nervous but quickly started to relax.
I don't know much about construction, but everything seems solid and quality.
Regatta Bay has a 24-hour policy that says a complaint will be remedied, excepting cases where parts must be ordered, in 24 hours or your rent for that day is free. I'd love to get that day's rent free, but they've responded to each of my two complaints within two hours. Further, they don't seem to seek shortcuts. When one of my problems seemed out of their league, they volunteered to call in a professional.
If you move here, expect all the office staff to greet you by your first name, and don't ask me how because I don't know. The property manager even identified my voice over the phone. Impressive.
There used to be a category on here about bugs, but since it is gone, I'll volunteer the information. There were a few spiders when I moved in, but that's tapered off. During the drought, some bugs were coming in looking for moisture, but not only did that stop once the rain came, the office sprayed for me, too. I haven't seen a single bug in close to 6 weeks. I'm very happy with that.
I would tell my family and friends to move into Regatta Bay. It's clean and new. There is high-speed internet access, free copies in the business office, a fax machine, a putting green, a gas grill, and a fitness center. They'll install your ceiling fan for you if you choose to buy one, etc. It's the best apartment I've ever seen in Annapolis.
