Ah, Annapolis. It's a gleaming city, with something always happening. Never mind that the traffic down 665/Forest Drive can be downright maddening, the apartment locale was still on par with what I expected.

Having a boat slip just down the street proved useful, and though I never used the pool, it's one of the better I've seen.

The apartment itself was huge - over 1000 square feet, with a giant balcony and more closet space than I ever managed to use. The closet doors, however, are in serious need of replacement - the behemoth 8 foot tall doors routinely slide off of their tracks and become a very real and heavy danger to anyone that can't stop 50 lbs. at short notice.

On the whole, it seemed as if there was only one major project the complex did each year - replacing the sliding glass doors was my treat.

Grounds maintenance was spotty and shoddy, and the buildings never looked as nice as they could (or should) have.

Laundry is expensive to do, and the ancient array of Kitchen appliances was not reliable in the least.

You can hear your neighbors plain as day, as well as anything happening in the hallway - the locks are not secure (I managed to break into my own apartment, after my SLIDING GLASS DOOR locked me out...they replaced them all though)

The staff is not terribly helpful, and seems to rotate quite often. Maintenance is great though, they were very quick and professional.

The stairs are a tripping hazard, since they are recessed and spaced.

Wow - I guess overall, I wasn't that impressed. Oh well - Annapolis is still a great town, and from what I looked at in the area, it doesn't get too much better without shelling out serious duckets.
