It depends on where you live on the property as to what you find. I've lived in 2 different apartments here, and the second is definitely the better deal. The apartments are HUGE for the price you pay. The staff quality depends on who's around at the time. There have been good managers and bad ones. They don't invest a lot of money in the place, and some of the appliances, fixtures, and cabinetry are in desperate need of replacement.

I think some have exaggerated the extent to which this complex is in the 'hood, or how close it is to the projects. There is one housing project several blocks away.

I've never had cockroaches or any other sort of bug problem. Maintenance staff is friendly, professional, and usually very quick to fix any problem.

Parking in some areas can be a pain.

Safety isn't a big concern, but the property managers could do more. Better locks, and secure entry doors would be helpful.

I like the fact there is a city park right next door. There are lovely walking trails in the woods. One ball park that is seldom used. A nice little playground for the kids, and a wonderful public pool. There is a new skateboard park, and for the apartments near the water it could be noisy.

All in all, I think it's one of the best buys in Annapolis. It's not fancy, but it's nice.
