AGREED! I have been complaining since January about the pool/business center/gym and requested that they lowered my rent for false advertising since they have not provided the amenities listed in my rental agreement. I recommend standing your ground and complaining to management a few times while threatening to move out. If you don't mind the tactic I would give it a shot because it worked for me. I told them my gym membership cost $40 a month and they reimbursed me by lowering the rent $100 a month. Worth a shot and good luck! By the way, as per my last review I checked with my friend on the city council who confirmed that they cannot pass inspection because the building was not built to code and they only need to make small adjustments such as lighting around the grounds. My guess is that they ran out of money.

I posted a very positive review when I first moved here earlier this year. Unlike the person who originally posted this particular rating (not worth the headache), i live on the top level and don't have to worry about noise above me-thank goodness! It doesnt release me, however, from the ridiculously untidy neighbors who are constantly littering (urgh). Overall, I am still fairly pleased with my actual unit. Now...for the record...I am equally mortified about this situation wth the pool/clubhouse. I agree that this represents false advertisement. In fact, the clubhouse and fitness room where the selling points and rationale for me choosing this development over another which had lower rent. The fact that this clubhouse is "coming soon" is STILL posted on the apartment website and I find this ridiculous. The single neighborhood pool pass per tenant is a joke and, in my opinion, an insult. I am rather new to this process, but is there a way that concerned tenants can collectively make a stand? Love to hear your thoughts... -DISGUSTED
