Wouldn't live here

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I lived on the first floor on the end. Kids from the public housing would congregate just outside the fence in front of my apartment and walk just outside the fence walking back and forth between the housing projects this complex is sandwiched between. In less than a year, I had 4 windows broken out by people throwing rocks at them. They attempted to break them about once per month, but were only successful 4 times. The above floor windows were also broken. The office came to fix them rather quickly (2-3 weeks per window) but when I asked if they could put up a solid fence or some bushes, or even some additional lights, they said they couldn't do that. The only option they could give me was a free transfer to a smaller apartment that was available. I was embarrased to have people stay over in fear that someone would try to break the window when they were sleeping there. This is in addition to the shootings you hear fairly often and the cars speeding around the center wooded circle afterwards. Also, one time, four kids got out of a car parked in front of my apartment and urinated the grass next to the fence, at about 4 in the afternoon. We later found out the car was stolen by reading the police report. This is not a place I would recommend living, and that is why I moved out. In addition, the other people living in the complex are not respectfull, on 3 occasions, the upstairs neighbor spit on my car parked outside the garage. I told the office but they only warned him. One last thing, the security gates are a joke, living on the first floor, I saw people jump the fence at least twice a day-cutting through to the two housing projects.
