Wonderful apartments Horrible Neighborhood

This is by far the nicest apartment complex that I have ever lived in. That being said I haven't heard this much automatic gun fire since I was in the army.
The apartments are clean and new. Fresh paint, large rooms, etc. All the amenities you could ever wish for. It is Pricey but you get your money's worth.
However, all night long you can hear the partying from the two neighborhoods on either side which ends in gunfire almost every night.
Inside the gates it's paradise, but we are moving because the rent is too high, and our friends are too afraid of the sorounding neighborhood to visit us. Plus the new management is much worse then the one in place when we moved here.
