Unreal--the absolute worst!

I have lived in numerous apartments and apartment complexes over the years. Because I did not have as much money as I do now, I never expected much. After moving to Archstone, I thought my 1125 for a one bedroom would provide a little of the security and peace that I had missed before. WRONG. The aparment complex allows trash to pile up to the point that it blows all over the place, gates to break at least twice a month, power to go out without notice (11 times since I have been here). In reference to the power: when you ask for an explanation, you are told that it is the way the box for the complex is designed. What' It makes no sense.
Not to mention, there are several people here who double and triple up to make rent (even though this is not allowed). They stay up all week drinking beer and yelling all night. Some of us work very early in the morning and are powerless to stop this. I have complained many times, but am always told that they will "take care ot it". People here have also been allowed to shoot off fireworks all night (not only on the 4th!). When I mentioned to the office that I was worried about the fact that they were setting these rockets off next to my car, I was told, again, that they would "fix it". That was 2 months ago and for two straight months we have consistently (each weekend) experienced it. I had to call the cops to make it stop. In short, the front office does nothing despite numerous complaints.
People from out of state--PLEASE do not be fooled. Look around carefully before settling on this place. You CAN do better.

I also agree with this...Nothing seems to be getting done about all the noise complaints, and the extra people living in the apartments. I have complained about the parking situation and the noise. All the leasing office seems to do is send out warning letters to the apt oomplex saying they are going to take action...well take action!!

This person is absolutely correct. I've experienced the same issues myself. When the office say's they's take care of it, don't believe it. They have no bones at all. They are also fully aware that people not on the lease are living in apartments.

Wow--you don't live here but have an opinion? Do us all a favor and get a hobby. We are not talking about noise--but excessive, disruptivem and unecessary noise.
