Do Not Rent Here!

Let's see where to start. I write this review based off of my experiences living in 4 different apartment complexes. The only thing West Winds has going for it is the affordable rent. This is where anything postive stops.
It is there policy to sue first w/o inquiry with the tenant even if they have made a mistake in accounting & have cashed your check, and then offer up an incensere apology about it being policy.
It is extremely noisy due to the proximity of the firehouse and the constant car noise from other tenants blasting music as they drive around the parking lot. The gated community is a joke. It never closes and is pressure activated so it provides zero security.
Finally, the most frustrating of all is the dismal service of the leasing staff. I have never met people who were so unhelpful after you sign the lease. Not only was their attitude horrible some of the employees seemed to take satisfaction in knowing that they are screwing you. I can list out 5 specific issues but will not do so due to space. I have chosen to leave Westwinds even though I am still locked into paying and have found much better apartment living nearby.
In conclusion, save yourself a major headache. DO NOT RENT HERE!

I moved out of state and trusted my roomates to replace me. BIG mistake. They were evicted son after I left! 5 years later they are trying to take me to court. I refuse to respond. Why after 5 years? Isn't after 3 years the statue of limitations run out? I won't bother with them. I think I will file bankruptsy or something. What's a girl to do?

...well, learn your lesson. if you jump out on a lease they aren't obligated by law to replace you lol. If you refuse to respond they can get a court to issue a bench warrant for you. I'd just deal with the court case and leave it at that. once its over its over ya know. If you file for bankruptcy it will ALWAYS be there...a small claims court/civil court case will not. Good luck.
