I've lived here 7 years (on the recommendation of a previous renter), and have been very satisfied. I honestly believe that I got all that I paid for. Washer/Dryer inside the apartment, large rooms, lots of closet space, and an excellent area. The grounds are attractive and well-kept, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe.
The office staff have always been extremely kind, helpful and prompt in answering any questions and resolving any maintenance issues I had. The few times I had a problem, maintenance always arrived quickly and corrected whatever the issue was, even on weekends or at odd hours.
I recently purchased a Condo in the area, and will be leaving. But if I hadn't found a place that I really loved, I would still be happily staying at Oakland Hills. I would definitely recommend it, no question.
