I used to live in Allston for a year. The only nice thing is it's very very close to the Homewood campus and it takes no time to go to classes or take the shuttles. Except that, it is totally a shabby place to live in. The only "renovation" the landlord does once every year is to paint the outside doors and the walls in the hallway to "attract" new residents. Like most other apartments around campus as well, it is always overpriced. Noise is always a problem unless you are one of those "party dudes" that the buliding has never been lack of.

No suprise the ones who gave positive reviews are actually the landlord. Keep away from here as long as you have any any other choices.
