I moved to Bonnie Ridge in Feb 07 and am about to give my required 60 days notice (yes thats right, they require 60 days notice if you arent going to renew your lease-if you dont then they automatically charge you a ridiculous amount of money) and am very happy at the thought of leaving. Initially the place seemed wonderful- tons of parking, great gym, washer dryer in unit, new carpeting, etc. After I lived here for a few months I realized the following:
* We have to drive our trash to the trash can yet still pay $5/month for trash services
*No one will ever pick up their phone at the maintenance office- the call center is really nice but none of them can help you.
*Even though they say the office stays open until 6 pm, I have rushed home numerous times to pick up a package and found the office locked and closed at 5:45 PM
*I have left many voicemails for Brenda, the seemingly wonderful leasing agent that rented me my apt, and NEVER received a call back. When I would call and ask about the voicemail I left, every time i was told they were having "technical difficulties" which erased the voicemails.
*I dont think I have ever received the same answer on an issue from anyone on staff- no one really seems to know what they are talking about.
*Now for some reason there is never any parking and I am forced to park in the leasing office lot.
*The mail has some issues making it to my mailbox on time- magazines will get stolen and if you dont put the name of the residents on the mailbox, the mailman/woman will return to sender. Thats right, I had a card sent to my address with no name on it and they received it back because the mailperson was too lazy to look at the NUMBERS on the mailbox.
Aside from the negatives listed above, it is still a rental community that offers rare amenities- free parking, a washer/dryer, and it allows pets. It met my needs while I lived there but I am very happy about the idea of NOT living in Bonnie Ridge anymore. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

Problems with the mail service, are just that. This has nothing to do with the complex whatsoever. Bonnie Ridge does not employ your mail carrier. As for the office closing early, I've seen that happen once or twice (and I pick up my packages late in the evening as well) but there is always a note on the door stating the reason and an apology for the inconvenience. I work in an office too and I'm sure I miss dozens of calls a day because I am either on the line, or working with someone at my desk. I would kill for a call center sevice to take those missed calls. Count your blessings that you get to speak with a live human being!

Actually, liv612, when I asked them about it, the 21209 Post Office informed me that Bonnie Ridge has in fact been warned previously to clean up its act with respect to the mail.
