I have lived a Bonnie Ridge for 2 years in March. I am moving when my lease is up. I have read many of the reviews and they are being honest. If I had of read the reviews before I moved here I don't think I would have moved in. First, I do agree with many of the reviews about the office staff. Some of them are friendly and nice but the property manager is rude and tends to talk down to people. He is not helpful in most cases and he apparently needs a lesson in communication. When I first moved in, the maintenance staff was horrible. I must admit it has gotten a lot better. The girl who works in the eminence office is very friendly and helpful (Tameka). She makes sure the job gets done. It is true that there were rats down by the dumpster in the summer of 06. I saw many rats running through the bushes while sitting in my car afraid to get out. However, that problem has been solved because the trash can is enclosed now. The reason why I am moving is because I can not live with mice. Yes please beware that Bonnie Ridge does have mice. The exterminator has been out several times but unfortunately, mice are hard to get rid of in an apartment complex. Bonnie Ridge also has difficulty putting ice down and shoveling the side walks when it snows. Sometimes it is done right away but when it snows a great deal, it takes much longer. I have shoveled the walk way for my neighbor s lots of times. It just takes too long. I wouldn't tell anyone to move to Bonnie Ridge I think it is a disappointment. I have heard that a couple of the apartments have been broken into but my apartment has not. I am thankful for that. I do agree that this could happen anywhere.
The walls are thin. Right in the hallway where the heat pump is located you can hear everything that is going on in the apartment above you. It sometimes sounds like the person is in your apartment.
Really believe some of the reviews before moving here it is not all that it is cracked up to be.

You are so right, I was there in 06 (rats by the dumpster) and had to deal with mice. NO ONE should have to live like this, and certainly not for the money they charge!

Donnie.. oh i'm sorry (Home Properties Employee) does Bonnie Ridge still pay you to counter-act everything said on this site? Anyway.. Mice are everywhere. I am tired of the exterminator coming into my home. Bonnie Ridge needs to be torn down. How embarrassing it is when friends come over to stay and they see mice.. then they say how much do you pay again for rent?? You shouldn't have mice problems. Then I start feeling like the idiot I know I was when I signed the lease. URRGGG!!
