Please read this if you are planning to move to BR. My boyfriend and I moved in about a month ago and we have had nothing but headaches ever since. Not only are the leasing agents sleazeballs (more on this later), but this has to be the noisiest complex that we have ever lived. The third week we were here we got our car towed from the parking lot after we had gotten a DO NOT TOW request from the leasing office stating that our car would not be towed for three weeks. Well, the day that our tow request expired, our car was towed. Come to find out, the leasing office has struck a deal with a local towing company that allows them to tow any car from the lot that does not have Maryland plates. My boyfriend and I just moved here from New York. How is that for looking out for your tenants' These people are not to be trusted and will take your money any way they can. Another thing that we have experienced is the excessive noise at very early hours in the morning. I was awoken several times by lawnmowers and gas hedge trimmers at my window at six o'clock in the morning. I, personally, will not be staying here and hope that others heed these warnings or at least be aware that this place is run by sleazeballs who are out to rob you of your money.

Ummm... yeah, what this person said above about the towing is a total lie. I live in an area of the community where parking can get a little tight. Bonnie Ridge realizes this and has arranged for a a towing service to come through and look for abandoned vehicles to alleviate parking issues. I, for one, am very thankful for this. They do not tow if you have out of state tags, they tow if you have EXPIRED tags. There's a big difference there. And, as she mentioned they do have a Do Not Tow list that you can get your name on if you have delays with MVA or something. This isn't a problem for those of us who keep our lives in order. this was all explained very clearly to me before I signed my lease - it's in the lease too, so it shouldn't have come as any suprirse to someone who acutally read it. As for the hedge trimming... I've never been awakend at early hours so I guess I can't comment on that.

As I've said many times with other folks...did you actually read your lease? The towing policy is clearly stated, they make you sign-off on it twice, and they even go so far as to post all the buildings and every door multiple times a year to remind people of the policy. By the way, expiration dates are just that; the date on which something expires or ends. Sounds like someone didn't take care of business in a timely manner. And since when does it take 3 weeks to get new tags in MD? When I moved here, I had mine in ONE DAY. You may spend all day at MVA, but at least it'll save you from having to pay a tow company for your failure to do what you're supposed to do.

Oh those tow sharks, I mean tow guys. They creep around all night looking for vehicles. It is quite ridiculous. My tags are up to date though- but my neighbors made a honest mistake and forgot to renew the tags on there second car, it was only like 2 days past... TOWED! Bonnie Ridge and the tow guys - HEARTLESS! They aren't the police, this is private property. Someone should find out if this is legal.

Bonnie Ridge is run by sleazeballs. That is the bottom line. I am missing some items from my home.. currently trying to investigate weather someone from maintenance took it from my home. I live alone so someone else taking it is out of the question. The only good thing that may come out of this.. getting out of my lease. I didn't do good enough research before I moved in. The folks in the leasing office made everything sound so great. I'm pinching myself for falling for the lies! Please do some research and same yourself a headache.
