First I'd like to say that in reality I personally rate this community a 4/5, but after reading some unfair reviews (like one where they gave Bonnie Ridge a "1" because they didn't like their neighbors) I rated a 5/5 to try and offset that a smidge.
That said... I really enjoyed my stay at Bonnie Ridge.
One huge complaint though, but the rest is positive...The trash! The WHOLE COMMUNITY shares one compacting dumpster and recycling area... The recycling area is constantly overflowed and on top of it looking disgusting grounds crew has to throw the excess in the trash compactor, effectively making everyone's recycling efforts go to waste...litter-ally.
Now the good stuff... Staff was friendly and maintenance requests were responded to quickly. They also host community events like yard sales and balcony contests, which add to the neighborhood feel.
The gym is nice, but more free-weights would be nicer. The pool is very nice too.
Price wise the place was a bit steep, but I felt I got my money's worth there because I actually used the pool, gym, and recreation areas.
BE WARNED THOUGH...THEY ARE STRICT
As long as you follow the rules, you're OK. I made the mistake of forgetting to put the registration sticker on my license plate or a few days. 3 Days expired...my car was towed. They have zero tolerance for unregistered vehicles, but I can't count that against them though because they DO make you very aware of that fact and it was my fault. Just be careful.

Its good to know people post good reviews on here too. I've enjoyed my stay here as well (I'm renewing my contract for another year) but will have to agree about the trash....

Tell you what. Lets put dumpsters all over the complex and make look like the ghetto. Because the football field sized compactor just isn't quite big enough. Are you serious. i would much rather have that thing away from building instead of looking at it through my window or smelling it and best of all bugs everywhere and even closer to the buildings. Great! sign my ass up. If people would stop throwing mattress and bedframes in the trash dumpster, it would compact fine and the trash would not overflow. There is a bulk dumpster by the maintenace shop. The main compactor is trash only only, not for whatever you want to throw in it.
