I've lived at Bonnie Ridge for nearly 2 years now. My experience at this community has been nothing short of pleasurable. I am still surprised at how quiet the community is. I recently found out that there are 960 apartments at this property, housing over 2500 people at any given time! Wow! And the incredible part is that you rarely hear anything from the neighbors...or at least where I live. Obviously I enjoy my peace and quiet!
I've encountered a few maintenance issues in my apartment (broken dishwasher, door not closing properly, etc.). Each time I report an issue, a maintenance tech is at my door either the same day or the next. They're friendly and professional, something I never encountered at my previous apartment complexes.
The office staff is always helpful when I have questions. What surprises me is that even the leasing agents have been trained to interpret and discuss account information. At my old communities, all they did was pass me off to someone else because it "wasn't their job." The Bonnie Ridge staff is well-rounded, very educated, professional, and dependable.
The only complaint I can mention is the lack of resident activities. Last autumn was the most recent major event...some type of gourmet food event where local markets and businesses offered samplings of their foods and wine. It was GREAT! I just wish there were more of these events. I'm hoping they have another event soon, especially one of the same caliber.
I promise I'm not being paid to say any of this! I work in retail and I firmly believe in giving praise where it's deserved, and giving grief to those who don't measure-up. I've read some of the other comments on here and found that most of the people are angry over things that they most definately knew about (i.e., utility billing, towing policy, paying rent on time, etc.). If they had actually chosen to read their lease when they signed it, they wouldn't have any issues. The staff, from what I've seen, goes above and beyond to inform people of all the important policies, almost to the point where it's imprinted on your brain! My advice to most of those complainers is to read before you sign ANY contract; you'd be surprised at what you may learn.
Overall, a great community at a fair price. And when comparing them to the other communities in the immediate area, this place is definately the "Rolls Royce." It's the only place that doesn't make you feel like you've just entered the ghetto when you arrive at the property.

Leasing office you almost got me... I was so close to believing this was real. Even the mis-spelled words... really great job at almost disguising yourselves.

Really, Bonnie Ridge, you should learn to be less transparent when you try to disguise ads as unbiased reviews. "The only complaint I can mention is the lack of resident activities"? Give me a break....

Yes, I agree that the utility bill from this "Ista" company is outrageous. I don't agree with having to pay for my neighbor's usage, especially when I'm out of town for an extended period. But I have to say 72 degrees is plenty warm for me. And I'm happy that it's a limited thermostat. Can you imagine what your $100 utility bill would be like if everyone on the property could blast their heat at 80 degrees? I say good call. But I would hope that if you had a baby and a pediatrician said the temperature needed to be higher that they'd work with you. As for the dog poop situation, I agree that it's a problem. I also say residents should pickup their own dog's crap. I do. Why should my dog's pile of crap be someone else's responsibility to clean up? I'm hoping this "pet fine" system works and people start getting slapped with penalties for being so freakin' inconsiderate! Anything else you want to blame on the community?

Ok, lets just say you do reside at Bonnie Ridge, is there a possibility that your deaf and blind.. maybe you don't realize how much dog poop you step in when you walk outside - and maybe you can't actually read the outrageous utility bills that we receive, do you not know when you go to turn your temperature up past 72 degree's that it's not allowed. So I'm sure your probably suffering like ther rest of us. Probably huh? And how can you explain us residents not being able to turn the heat up past 72 degrees??? After all we are paying for it - and its not like the apartments are well insulated.. some parents should maybe start a lawsuit, I'm sure a few sicknesses in children could of been avoided. Bonnie Ridge Management you are cold hearted trash. Possible future tenants please be forwarned. You will not be happy here.
