Always had a problem with mice. There was one on the couch that went running to the kitchen. This is gross. They will try to fix the problem but it's not good enough. Some leasing agents don't care to hear your story they just tell you to call maintenance. And when you do, they are not available. It takes a lot to get their attention. Would not recommend this complex.

It's a shame that people post reviews without telling the full story. As someone who lives at Bonnie Ridge I can tell you that rodents ARE NOT a major issue. I moved into Bonnie Ridge 2 years ago and in this time I went from not having any rodent/mice issues to having one incident with a mouse. Now here the complete story- Bonnie Ridge is located on Smith Avenue between Old Pimlico and Mt. Washington, next to Bonnie Ridge is a townhouse community called "Greens at Smith" Next to the Greens at Smith, there is now new home development. Two years ago, the entire cleared area being prepped for new homes was actually woods/forrest. Mice, squirrels and rodents lived in these wooded areas- where do you think they go when their land is cleared out and the woods uprooted? There are only a limited amount of places these animals could have scurried to. If you think there may be a problem at Bonnie Ridge, just ask the people who live in the $700,000 homes next to Bonnie Ridge if they are having any rodent issues- they are much worse off. When I did see the one mouse in my apartment, I came into the leasing office to voice my concerns and they directed me to contact maintanence.I have no issue with that. People have actually said on this site that the leasing agents, "did not care about my problem and instead sent me to maintanence". Why is that a problem folks? If you take your puppy to your pediatricians office, they most likely will turn you away before you can explain the issue and refer you to a veterinarian. Would you complain that the doctor did not see your dog? NO! I was happy to speak with maintanence myself on this issue and the following week it was all resolved. If you bought a house and 6 months down the line you see a mouse, are you going to complain to the real estate agent? People need to stop being so foolish and take care of themselves. I've read so many reviews on here that seem like bold face lies. I moved here two years ago at the urging of my friend who had already been living here. She has lived here a total of 6 years now. We both love it here. Last week while I was walking my dog, I met an elderly man who said he moved into Bonnie Ridge back in 1971, AND STILL LIVES HERE! I'm sure there are many many people who love living at Bonnie Ridge and of course there will be people who do not. Everyone's experiences are not the same and anyone who reads these reviews needs to know that.

For the person above, your comment is rude. First of all, there is a severe mice problem!!!! I had them running cross my countertops in the kitchen. On my kitchen table etc. That is preety unsanitary!! Maybe you like mice in your home, congrads.... You need to speak with some of your neighbors, there is an infestation!!! You must have missed the memo! The staff doesn't care!!

I hated my time at Bonnie Ridge and have very little good to say about them. However, with respect to mice - it's a city-wide problem this year, especially now that the weather has changed. You DO however have recourse. My understanding is, landlords in this area are required to pay for an exterminator, once, at their cost. If Bonnie Ridge does not comply after you have notified them in writing, you have recourse and I would suggest you contact an attorney immediately. DO NOT delay in this action; if you do, it could be taken as evidence that you accepted the status quo and you will weaken your case if push comes to shove.
