Reviewers...you can take this for what it's worth...I'm not one of those people who just get on here and bad mouth a property for no reason....just not my MO...but I thought it should be known about this community.

I'm a white collar professional that works very hard for his living and what attracted me to the Cambridge Court Apartments in the first place was its location, beautiful landscaping, and the upbeat personalities within the property management office, as well as the Bozzuto name backing it. I'm not originally from the Bmore area, so I didn't know what to expect, but I assumed that the area as a whole seemed nice and transient, therefore, I figured I sign up for a year lease. Boy was I wrong....

First issue...I encountered heavy walking/stomping from the tenants that live above me. I know that living in apartment can be a challenge sometimes, but I've lived in low income high rises before, and I never heard the type of noise that I hear currently. It's like the tenants are purposely stomping hard for no damn apparent reason. I actually went upstairs one day and knocked on the door and the asked the couple to take it easy with the stomping, but my request was disregarded. I escalated the issue to upper management through the prop mgmt office, but the only thing they offered was to put me in another unit on the third floor. Why should I have to move' Didnt make sense...anyway...the problem continues and has grown even worse....not sure what I can do but deal with it until my lease is up.

Second issue....just this past weekend, I had my jeep grand cherokee broken into right outside of my apt on the side street. Ive been parking here for months and the break-in was kind of suspicious because all that was stolen out of my jeep was my tom tom gps device. It seems like somebody within the community has been watching me and my vehicle....no big problem, thats why I have insurance. The F'd up thing about the situation is that you wouldn't expect for such activity to take place in this area. Yeah right...

So, this is the real on Cambridge Court....if you live in the Bmore county area and you want to live amongst a mix of PWT, single black women with a bunch of loud ass kids, white women with dogs that allow their dogs to sh** on the premises without picking up after them, black guys with high priced fancy cars with handicap decals, and a bunch of wannabe uppity people who think sunshades and tinted windows make them affluent, then this is the place for you. The rent is pretty reasonable compared to the DC area (where Im from) but the people in this area are definitely NOT on the level of the people from the DC area. They say the Army BRAC is going to bring a new influx of educated individuals into this area....I damn sure wont be around to witness it. When my lease expires, Im headed back to DC....Bmore is pretty much what they say it is.....and Cambridge Court would be better if they did a better job of screening their tenants. Just my two cents...

I second, third, and fourth your feelings. We have been dealing with the same issue with our neighbors above since feb. One would think that after 4 months of talking to the complex regarding this, numerous encounters with the neighbors asking them to please lighten it up with the noise, and countless nights of being woke up at 2-6am in the morning from stomping, slamming, dropping things, police being notified and supposed warnings from the complex that you would be asked to leave no such luck. Because of this we are now moving, and have nothing good to say about this apartment complex.

My mother and stepfather live in the townhouses across the street and his GPS also got stolen out of his truck. Its a shame these things happen in what you think is a good neighborhood.

Most overrated POS apartments I've ever lived in....the PWT people that live there resemble the PWT people that works in the front office....dont be fooled...now I see why Bozzuto dropped this community. I cant wait until the day I can turn in my 60 days and kiss my azz notice all at once.

I agree with the last post. We loved living here until June when Riverstone took over and Bozzuto left. The new office staff is rude, nasty and useless unless you are someone new they'd like to sucker into a year lease. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Luckily our lease is up and we are outta here ASAP.
