I have lived at Canterbury for 5 years now, and I can truley say that the place is going down hill pretty rapidly. To begin with, I don't feel safe at all. In the past two years I have had to call the police 4 times due to violence in the complex. My car has gotten broken into and over a 1000 dollars of stuff was taken. I have had to put up with roaches for over a year, killing 15-20 a day with the exterminator coming every friday. THe floor boards are now squeakier than ever, causing me extreme distress from the neighbors above me that walk throughout all hours of the night. They say "their is nothing they can do." Changing floorboards throughout the complex of course is not an option. SO the noise level throughout the building in all apartments is extremely loud. I have never in my life dealt with such disorganized or inefficient staff. Changing names on the lease when my old roomate left was a nightmare. Despite several handwritten letters, phone calls, etc.. somehow the paper was lost. THis has happened on several occasions for several different situations. The laundry facilities are appalling, and the list goes on and on. For a 1000 dollars a month, please be ware and my advice is to look elsewhere!!
