We were moving in from a different area, and had no idea what we were in for. At first it seemed like this place would be perfect for us. What a joke. I've read the other reviews, and I couldn't agree more. Noisy is an understatement. It's like the floors and walls are made out of paper! Every single step that is taken can be heard, and don't forget that noise from the common areas echos through the apartment too. Maintence is a complete joke! I waited for weeks if not months at a time for repairs. They raised the price of laundry...to 3.50 a load! That's insane! And half the time, the washer or dryers or both are not working properly. Not only have I seen mice and had to kill my share, but we had a bat in our apartment one night. I called maintence, guess what...they're not 24/7. The guy on call told me that he'd come check it out in the morning! I wasn't about to spend the night with the furry friend! This location is also really close to the hospital, a nice perk if you're in need of an ER, but you have constant noise from ambulance sirens and medical choppers. The office had given us a quote of utility prices, I don't know if they were misinformed or they just lied, but the bills were nearly double... I could go on but I think I've made my review. I can't wait until my lease is up! It's not worth the money...

Can I ask what building you are in? I am moving to the newer buildings at the end of Livia Court next month and I hope they are better than the older buildings.

Livia Court is horrible. They have a squirrel problem. I lived in 2 Livia Court and squirrels were actually getting into my apartment in the vents. I was cooking dinner one night, and a squirrel was crawling around the vent behind the wall. Canterbury did absolutely nothing about the problem. It's a shame that they allowed another person to rent the apartment.
