So we've been here for a little over two weeks. We are in a first floor 2 br 2 bath in the newer buildings on Livia. Very spacious apartment. Big rooms, nice long kitchen with lots of counter space. Easy for my elderly mom and I to get around in. Nice neighbors. Quick repairs. Pretty neighborhood. They are doing 'tree restoration and beautification' this week. We'll see how that goes. But they do keep the area looking nice.

NO mice. The only squirrels are outside and we like squirrels just fine. We like to feed birds so I set up a few feeders on our patio and we get lots of birds, which we also enjoy. There are some semi-domesticated kitties in the woods that have been spayed and neutered by a rescue group and everybody in our building has adopted them.

Any complaints' Really nothing drastic. The flooring in the kitchen is a little worn and has some marks on it I can't get out. And once the toilet wouldn't flush. That's what maintenance came in for and fixed right away.

As for noise. My bedroom is near the main entrance and stairs in the lobby that lead upstairs so I do hear people coming in and out and going up and down the stairs but that's been about it. Not bad really. Otherwise the apartment here is pretty quiet.

This is one of the newer (circa 2000) buildings so it may be somewhat different in the older buildings but I've been in a 2 br unit on Abigail before and it was nice too.

The staff has been nice so far and helpful. So I have to assume the complainers around here may be just that. Complainers by nature. This IS apartment living and maybe some people are not prepared for that. But as apartments go it's pretty good here.

Also tons of shopping five minutes away. Lots of restaurants, movies, parks..you name it! So yes, I'd recommend moving here.
