stay away from this building and neighborhood

Years at this apartment: 2004-01-01 - 2006-01-01
1) Parking: Ramp parking, way overpriced, no assigned spots so you are way at the top (but always get a spot)
2) Noise: Neverending construction is loud and incredibly obnoxious.
It's the worst part of the living here.
TOTALLY unacceptable, with no compensation from management.
3) Grounds: Pretty much 100% concrete with a couple shrubs, and there are tons of dogs so always be on the lookout for stray dog crap.
4) Safety: VERY dangerous neighborhood.
Do not go out after dark, and even during the day you'll be uncomfortable.
5) Construction: Average construction quality, but as mentioned above, the constant construction is infuriating - haven't been able to open ANY of our windows for over a year (they taped them shut because of the perpetual construction).
6) Maintenance: Not terrible, but we've had leaks that they can't ever seem to get fixed, and they aren't understanding about the annoyance to residents of having maintenance guys in your apartment.
7) Staff: A bunch of sorority girls who are pleasant, but incompetant.
They seem to try, but screw up plenty.
If they are supposed to do something, you better follow up with them repeatedly to make sure they actually follow through.
Trust me, I've lived here for a couple years and you do NOT want to live here.
I can't wait to leave.
