It's all true...
*Frequently broken elevators that they refuse to fix if it happens on the weekend (more expensive for them)... this leads to very long wait to get out of the building (or in it). *Incredibly rude office staff (Stacy and Candy). If you politely disagree or press an issue, be prepared to be screamed at. I dread each time I go in there to ask for something to be fixed. *Construction that has dragged on for YEARS since we were promised it would end. *Draft windows barely working a/c & heat = hot, hot summers and cold, cold winters. *Poor water pressure and frequent lack of hot water. *Trash chutes stink up the hallways. *Some of the front desk staff (the "security") have shady, criminal looking friends visiting at odd times. Hint: Don't do anything to let them know when you are on vacation! *Don't believe anything the leasing office promises in the future (amenities, reduced-price, parking, etc.) They are lies. *The price of having the protection of sprinklers in the south tower is having them go off when they shouldn't and flooding the hallways and apartments.
PROS: *Most of the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. *The insides of the apartments are acceptable, some of the views are nice. *Nice location. *Maintenance people are nice and do a good job.
