I live downtown also in a condo, every day I walk my dog for a walk and pick up a newspaper from one of the newstand on the corners. Well this Sunday, they were not there for some reason or another, so I kept walking towards my condo, I then saw a newspaper in a box but did not have change for a dollar. I saw a young lady setting at a table reading her paper as well. I quickly asked her if she had change for a dollar and her response was maybe, while she looked, I saw a pregnant young lady coming out towards me, the other young lady told me she had the change for me, the pregnant one, told me that she had told me, before that my dog and I was not allowed on private property, which I never saw any signs and goes there from time after thime to get my clothes clean and I set and have lunch there, sometimes. I told her she was wrong about telling me before, she then said to me that she was telling me now. I told her that was no problem told both of them to have a blessed day. If my dog was the real issue, she could have said that. I was not a homeless person or a begger, and even if I was, noone should be treated that way. Superfresh will be opening soon, what is she going to tell me' then, that I cannot shop there too. I have several attorney friends, that have told me to file a suite. I just may do so, I had my mother on the speaker phone and she heard the whole thing.
People like her, never know how and what someone is feeling, from someone speaking to them in that manner. I am human and I do have feeling.
I was going to try to move there next year, I can afford to live any place downtown.That gave me a whole new outlook of that area, along with some, important friends of mines.
