Flood Warning

Recently there was a flood in the building caused by negligence on the part of Charles Towers employees (causing a sprinkler to go off for no reason in someone's apartment.) 40 apartments were damaged.
Residents of Charles Towers have been told to "use your renter's insurance because we are not responsible for this damage" (even though they caused this).
People have to move their own furniture back and forth so that the cheap, dirty, incompetent contractors hired by Charles Towers can come in and "repair" the water damage.
This is the 3rd time this has happened in 2 years and is very typical for how Charles Towers handles problems (the many ones they create by their own incompetence).
Do not rent here. It might be cheap, but having your property ruined by your "landlord" isn't worth it.
Also, everything else negative written about Charles Towers on this site is true.

The terrible and damaging sprinkler system was installed by the Charles Towers maintenance crew, not by professionals. That is why it breaks down so frequently. The only answer to this problem is to move to a higher floor or to move out, although there are those who complain that the sprinklers have gone off while they were out of town and they have returned to find their clothes and furniture drenched and molding.
