This place is teh suck!

- The "management" admitted in a notice to the residents that the "air conditioning" system will only drop the temperature 15 degrees from the outside temperature. So when you have 95 degree days, your apartment will be 80 degrees. They recommend you turn off your lights, close the shades, and not cook. I guess you are supposed to sit in the dark and not eat during the summer.

- The water is turned off for various "repairs" every other week (it seems). Why don't they repair things properly the first time' That would make too much sense.

- The a/c and heating is too frequently turned off for repairs.

- The windows are falling apart. In the winter, cold air pours in through them and in the summer, hot air does the same. There are no screens in them for the fall.

- The elevators frequently break down for long periods of time leaving 2 (or sometimes only 1) elevator to service a 30 story building (with 8 apartments on each floor).

- Parking in the area is awful. The building owners co-own the parking under the building, but refuse to provide the residents much of a discount.

- The building is literally surrounded by noisy construction that starts at dawn (5:30 a.m. in the summer) and often goes through until the week hours of the morning. Jackhammers, etc. Despite their protestations to the contrary, much of the construction is being done by buildings being bought up by Southern Management, they are allowing their contractors to drive their tenants crazy.

- Though the front desk staff is absolutely wonderful, the best ever, the office staff (managers) are horrible, nasty shrews.

- The quality of tenants being allowed in the building has gone down considerably. It's getting really ghetto.

You dont know what you are talking about at all. The whole city is going under construction. Every where you look in Baltimore City there is a crane. It's not just Charles Towers area. Charles Towers is getting new windows starting this year, didnt you get the million dollar spending memo. The parking is a little difficult but it's what the city is all about. IT's the same no matter where you live in Baltimore City. Maybe the office staff would be nicer if some of the residents would grow up and stop being cry babies. All you people do is cry cry cry and whine whine whine. I actually enjoy the parties at Charles Towers, my rent price, and all that comes with it. You people want everything just like little babies. Get over it. Do you think things are going to get better by complaining on this website. Im sure the Charles Towers people read this stuff. Your just making it worst for the people like me that like it here.

Another response from management. Don't you know how pathetic this makes you look? I actually rather enjoy my apartment, but these incessant tirades against those who pay your salary are salary are silly. Grow up!
