Hello all. I have lived at the Towers for about 2 years. I recently moved and I miss it there terribly. It is in (in my opinion) the best area in the Downtown area. I would walk to the harbor easy and go to the mall, best buy, or barnes & noble and chipotle. Golds Gym is better that Bricks but Bricks was more accessable and the 24-7 fitness center was even more so. I could hail a cab at almost virtually anytime I needed one Me and friends, who also lived in the building, frequently would hang out in eachothers apartments and head out to either Fells, Canton, or up in Mt. Vernon. The place got even better when the superfresh grocery store came. I felt like I had it all....and all for the low low price of $1000. I Had a 1,000 square foot apartment in the sky, supermarket, many friends (that I made there) in the building, the office staff was nice to me (probably because my mamma taught me that you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar) and I dealt with the buildings many imperfections like a champ. ALL OF THE MANY COMPLAINTS ARE SERIOUSLY WAYYY EXAGGERATED! There is some validity but take most of it with a grain. I miss the building terribly. I have had some great times there. the place isn't perfect. No place is. The place is worth the price, well worht the price. It is less expensive than a lot of the other places, and I think it's fair, considering some of the problems. If I ever move back to the Baltimore area again, I will definately re-rent.

Whatever you do, don't take the complaints in the other reviews with a "grain". The place is a mess and is now planning a multi-month reconstructions project repairing the windows in all the older apartments, which will entail construction from inside the building: a nightmare yet to come. This review sounds like one of the hacks in the office has been assigned to reply to the complaints. Charles Towers is a mess. BE WARNED!

Let Charles Towers do what they have to do to make the place better. Then when they dont do anything people like you complain about that. Make up your mind, either you want them to make good changes for us or you dont. This place is turning into a chat room and you know that chat rooms are filled with people who dont have lives. Dont expect me to check this website out anymore. It's a waste of my time. Charles Towers is a nice place to live.

Charles Towers is one of the best high rise apartments I've ever lived in. No, I don't live there now, but then again, I don't live in B'more anymore. Listen, I've lived all over the country and, for my money, C.T. is the best deal for the money in a high rise. The problems people are complaining about happen in all such buildings. They're just gonna happen. If you don't like them (and hey, let's admit, sometimes they're annoying) then move into a brand new garden style apartment with no character and no class. If I'm ever stationed back in B'more, I'll check C.T. first for a place to live.

Well if you already live at Charles Towers, then you don't need to be checking out this website, do you?
And regarding "flies and vinegar and honey" I don't want to hear about your personal feminine hygiene issues.

oh great! The towers are FINALLY fixing their windows! I was the original poster. thats great. That was one of the problems living there. The windows kinda rocked a bit when it was really really windy (windier up higher too!) and it will def help with keeping the apartments cooler and warmer! im excited for them. I miss it there!
