Probably the 2nd worse high rise downtown (Horizon House being the worse so at least that's a blessing).
Well I should have read all the reviews here before moving in this summer. Ugh.
Let's see, we were lied to about getting new windows (and the leasing office lied to me about it when I moved in). They were going to be done in October, early November "at the very latest". Well, as you can guess it's almost December and no new widows. No information. Guess that's another thing that's not going to happen around here.
This morning I was awakened at 5:30 a.m. by construction workers who are refurbishing the Southern Management property next door. Their noise continued until I left for work this morning. Let me tell you, they are LOUD. I sort of got used to them starting at 6:45, but I guess 5:30 is there new thing. Not disturbing enough people I guess. You'd think Southern Management would do something about THEIR contractors disturbing their tenants, but you know, hey, we already have signed leases so we are stuck and screwed.
Anyway, crappy elevators (often 1 or 2 out of service), windows that might as well not be there, inadequate heat and cooling, undependable hot water. Everything you've read bad in the other reviews is all true.
They has been a flurry of activity in them doing things to seemingly cover their own butts. They've been trying to find out what insurance the residents have, etc. Things like that. So no recourse for you when they flood an apartment!
When this lease is over, unfortunately I have to move yet again. Thanks Charles Towers!
