On customer service and maintenance...Trust me, do not move here. You can find much cheaper places with fewer headaches. Mgmt is non-responsive to any concerns you may have regarding the safety of your apartment and forget about having basic maintenance requests handled. It was nice that we finally got the suicide windows replaced but the maintenance crew who did the job completely disregarded my personal items, they threw and left a dirty blanket on my bed, yes the place where I sleep every night and they left a layer of dirty film from I don't know what on my kitchen table. Then they didn't even replace the blinds, they just left them on top of my things that I had moved to the side so they wouldn't be in the way. Awful, workmanship and extremely poor customer service. When I called to complain about this, the front desk as usual gave me attitude because I interrupted whatever important business they have there. And yes they're all either romantically involved with the maintenance people or they have no idea how to fill out maintenance requests.
Parking...yeah, my car was broken into, in our secured locked garage, which by the way is completely messed up. In the morning it's hell getting out of because the only way up is the only way down so you basically have to beep your horn before you go down and pray that the person on the other end heard you and doesn't proceed to come up.
Safety...is also not a huge concern for the management team of Charles Towers. They leave broken doors unfixed for multiple days, so anyone can basically enter the premises.
Construction on the apartments is awful. The layout of the one bedroom I have is poor. The bathroom has 2 doors that aren't aligned and it's just an annoyance when they're bumping into each other or when both of them won't stay closed.
I will be uploading pictures later.

Maybe if you turned maintenance requests in to Resident Services like you're supposed to you might get faster service.
If you didn't like the layout of the apartment, why did you select it in the first place?
You got a letter suggesting that you cover your furniture with a drop cloth to prevent your items from being soiled.
This place isn't perfect, but it is a nice place to live.

I have a question. Does anyone from management or maintenance live in the building? From the responses I've seen, I don't think so. And, if they do, are they living in the best apartments and saving all the bad one for other tenants? Maybe the owners should require managment and maintenance to live one site and maybe they'd be more sympathetic. Nice place to live ... yeah, right.

Some maintenance personnel do live on the premises but the building manager and her staff of lady lackeys does not. Also, the maintenance manager was recently fired (he commuted to his job), thus adding to the general chaos in Charles Towers. The place is a mess, the incredibly ill-tempered manager thinks she is God's anointed, and the general atmosphere is grim, grim, grim.

If you would not be such a know-it-all everything in this review would have made sense. I found out that the previous maintenance manager was not fired, he resigned. Also, you might want to probably ask around who among them live there or not or who use to live there before you say anything that you do not know about. Sometimes it is best to say nothing at all especially if what you are saying is a mere hearsay... you just ruined the 1st person's point by adding an unresearched comment... now this site looks more like a gossip corner than a rating site thanks to you. what a waste!

I think it's hilarious that employees of Charles Towers are writing responses to this review. Way to keep things professional! It's one thing when you see a lot of negative reviews about an apartment but when management slams current residents for stating their frustrations with service you know there's a huge problem. I don't need to read any more reviews - good or bad - to decide against moving here.
