Gated community with lovely designs From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   This is an excellent community for anyone who is living in Baltimore for the first time. Chesapeake Commons is centrally located to museums, restuarants, and universities. As a gated community, it promotes a feeling of safety comperable to the suburbs yet provides access to an ecclectic mixture of al fresco lifestyle at the Inner Harbour; southern city antiquing as to the south in Ellicott City; and urban sophistication surrounding the city to the West, East and Fells Point. Each apartment offers a vantage point of the interior grounds or Mt. Vernon's Howard Park that suits an individual's taste and appreciation for architecture and style. On a personal note, I have been impressed with the architect's consideration for light, angles and space in a large apartment yet each area combines and evokes a sense of intimacy. The Chesapeake offers all the design features, safety and concierge services that make a 92 apartment development seem like home.
