Cross Country Manor hasnt done bad to me, but has taken its time to get to me. I moved in June of 2003 and had comeplained my central air wasnt working. 3 days later I cmoplained again, at which they said they were just installed and 295 of these units have to be services and Im #295 on the list. It took almost 2 and 1/2 months to get them to come arround to fix that which I diagnosed as a bad thermostat... My fridge broke and within 5 hours a new one was cooling my food. My smoke detector was old... its understandable that it may not work wellm and less then an hour after I called telling them my wife accdently made baked beans, it was replaced. All in all its a great value and I never had them give me trouble about mods to the apartment. It was newly renovated, but I saw the need for a fixture to be installed in the living room area, there were no wires or box, I had them put in. I have a large hi fi system in the apartment and the downstairs cant hear it. Maybe the stairwell can use a small cleanup or paint, but if your just starting the price is right and I lived there comfortably unemployed for 2 months and found a job in the area.
