I recently moved onto this property and if I could do it all over again I wouldnt.
It's impossible to talk to the manager. The only way I can contact is by calling her boss.
You cant fit queen boxsprings up the steps and they fail to tell you this information before you sign the lease. My first month I slept with my mattress on the floor. After a month of suggesting that they take my banister off, I finally reported this to the management company and my boxspring was up the steps the next day. Its crazy that I asked everyday for them to take my banister off and I was told "Maintenance cant do that. We would have to hire a contractor" Once I called the management office maintenace was able to do it.
Since I moved in I have gotten about 3 letters informing me that I have a balance on my account and they are going to process an eviction. Since I have live here (only about 4 months) I have paid my rent on time. One day I decided to personally go over to the rental office and I was told that my balance was clear do not worry about it. Two days later I get an eviction notice. I tried calling the manager a few times the next day but of course it was impossible. I called at 4 pm & the receptionist said she was at lunch. Once again, I had to call the management office to assist me.
Oh & they charge for everything. It's $50 more a month if you have central air in your unit. $50 more a month if you have washer and dryer. They are ridiculous. I have air in my unit & it does not even work in my bedroom. I have been complaining about this since May. Its now July.
As for the neighborhood, once I get off work im in the house for the remainder of the day so I cant really give you my opinion of the neighborhood. I dont see any drug transactions or fighting but I do know that there are tons of kids. LOUD kids.

Whatever you do, keep all your receipts. When I decided to move I was told I had a balance because a check had bounced. It was a misunderstanding at my bank and the bank cleared that up, but the rent office had charged me $25 for the return check charge. I went ahead and paid the charge, but when I got ready to move to another location, the rent office said I had a $5 balance. Come to find out, they were suppose to charge me $30 for the fee and it was their mistake that they didn't charge me the correct amount. I ended up paying the additional $5, but I had to call the regional office because the rent office was not cooperating.
