I read all of the stuff on Apt.Ratings, but checked it out anyway. My mom is in property management, and says that this site is just where the po'd tenants vent their anger. Well, I got a HUGE 2 bedroom WITH a family room and 2 bathrooms for $799. It is real close to the college and a lot of my friends live here. I have not experienced all of the stuff I read on the site, but I have attended college in 2 states, and unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money (which I definitely don't have) you just have to go with what you feel comfortable with.
So far, I like it.
