i thought i was moving into a decent complex, but after reading these reviews, im concerned. my future apartment looks great and so did the property. the staff has been pleasant, except for once when i called on the phone the lady had an attitude, but i put her in her place easily and thought nothing of it. now im wondering if that was a sign of things to come. HOWEVER, some of these reviews have a slight flavor of rascism. people are constantly complaining about there being residents from the "ghetto," "section 8," "Gangsta rap," and "single mothers" i wont deny that some of these "cultural stereotypes" are aggravating and unpleasant to say the least. but if black folks are your problem, maybe YOU have the problem.

I have lived in Fairways for over a year now, and I understand where these people are coming from. it's not Black people that are the problem. It's large groups of people walking around at 1 in the morning smoking weed. It is also people blasting their subwoofers in their cars when parked outside of a building at all times of the day and night. Not to mention the recent horn-happy jerks that are too lazy to walk up and knock on the person's door. No, they would rather sit out front on their horn until the person comes out. That on top of the previous robberies and raping that occured would turn a lot of people away from this complex. The new management, "The Donaldson Group" is trying to clean the trash out of this place. And whatever color that trash is, so be it. If it's Black people doing these things, then it's Black people. If it's white people, then it's white people. I hate it when people play the race card, it's an excuse that is used way too much these days. And by the way, "ghetto," - People robbing, raping, and people blasting stereos at all times of the day and night. "section 8" - No screening process as to who moves in. Many of these people are jobless and need to make money in other ways. This creates drug dealers in the complex. This process seems to be changing recently and im very happy about that. "Gangsta rap" - again the constant car stereos playing rap 100% of the time that i've heard it.. "Single mothers" - I have so much respect for you all, and I don't agree if someone is downing you for being that. I am renewing my lease here because the complex is trying very hard to clean things up, and they seem to be doing a great job at it. Keep it up Fairways!
