I live in the tower and like where i'm at so far. I lived in one of the surounding buildings before this, and I have to say that there is absolutely no comparison in quality of life. Get a place in the tower if you can. Anyway...
Suggestions:
-Stop people from beeping their car horns 20 times to get their buddys attention instead of walking up and knocking on a door like normal people. Tell the cops to watch out for this and hand out tickets. How hard is that' I hate waking up to that more than anything.
-Implement a child curfew. These small kids are walking around at all ours of the night. Something needs to be done about that before something happens to them. It's 1am, and im listening to children carrying on outside right now. WTF''''!'!'
-Fix the Rat problem. Mice are always going to be around no matter where you go around here. GET RID OF THE RATS. It's sick to see those huge creatures running by out front all of the time.
-Stop allowing trash to move in here. I thought this was going to be taken care of! I can't stand walking into my building after work and being horrassed by a 9 year old kid who wants to be like his older drug-dealing brother.
-Change out your rent a cop staff because most of them are as bad as the people that caused the need for their existance here.
-Get rid of that new outsourced maintenance line. It sucks, and you are waisting your money. I would rather just leave a voicemail than talk to those idiots.
-quit waisting money on things like a new concierge staff. the old ones were fine. it's not rocket science. Use this money to lower our rent and improve the apartments.

At this point, I hope you walked into the BUSINESS office and informed the manager of your broken door. The leasing office wouldn't be able to help you at all, and if the front desk lady isn't trying to expedite a broken door ticket for you, that's wrong and I would never have that problem with my experience. Also, I would be interested to know the extent of damage to your door. Is the deadbolt sawed off, or did someone just slip a credit card through your door to open it b/c someone forgot to lock the deadbolt. If that's the case, I would say that's why maintenenace hasn't come to fix the door. The door wouldn't be broken... If it really is broken, then again, go and talk to the manager, and give her the ticket number that you put in with the front desk. She is the only one who can expedite that kind of request.
